Creative 360 has named the jurists for both the art exhibition and creative writing competition for the 6th annual festival celebrating the creativity of people who are 55 and better – Artfest 55. The exhibit opening, talent, and written word competition and award
announcements all take place Friday, June 12 from 6:30—9:00 pm. Entries are due June 1.
The visual art competition jurist is Mariel Versluis, M.F.A . Syracuse University. Professor, Program Chair, Printmaking Kendall College of Art and Design. Mariel will judge how well each entry responds to the theme Circles, Cycles, Orbits and Tides in addition to the quality of the art piece. Creative writing jurists are Betty Meyette, Luana Russell and Sarah Yoder. Writers can submit their poems, short stories and memoirs by noon June 1 for adjudication along the theme Sentimental Journeys. Click here for the Artfest 55 creative writing parameters and entry form.
