Enjoy the history and tastes of Michigan wine with Rick Sigsby and Kevin Leahy

The Michigan wine industry has a rich and colorful history. There are more than one hundred wineries sprinkled all over the state, and every vineyard and wine maker has a story! Rick “the wine guy” Sigsby will share some of these stories, a little Michigan wine history and the myths and mysteries of wine from his book, Michigan’s Holy Water: The Great Lakes Wine Bible. Kevin Leahy will also be on hand to facilitate a tasting of wines from the Cadillac Winery. Rick Sigsby is a retired Park Ranger, writer, and part-time owner of race horses. His book covers many of Michigan’s best wineries with history and interviews. Sigsby says it provides “an insider’s look at why every resident should have their wine racks filled with Michigan wine and every tourist should never pass a wine tasting room without stopping.”
