CREATIVE 360 HOSTS ANNUAL LUNCHEON FUNDRAISER

Julie & Karl Ieuter

Postcard front Creative 360 is hosting its annual fundraiser Tuesday, October 10. Scheduled to begin at 11:30 am and end promptly at 1:00 pm, the luncheon easily accommodates those on a tight lunchtime schedule. Everyone is welcome to a complementary lunch at the Great Hall in Midland, but reservations are required. Call Creative 360 at 989-837-1885 to reserve a lunch no later than Friday, October 6!

Julie and Karl Ieuter have been named honorary chairs of the event.

Creative 360 holds their fundraiser luncheon each year in October and has named the annual event – Creative Connections. “The luncheon’s theme is representative of the many connections we have forged with the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond. We have connections with arts organizations in Saginaw, Bay City, Mt. Pleasant and even Frankenmuth. We are also proud of those connections we create between art and artist, art and science, and art and wellness,” said Executive Director Carol Rumba.

Funds raised during the luncheon help offset the organization’s operational expenses. Guided by their mission, the non-profit offers regular classes and events that include yoga, tai chi, music concerts, Shakespeare performances, dinner theaters, changing art exhibitions and openings, poetry readings, art classes and workshops, art lectures, children’s summer arts camps, writing classes, a six week science and art program for Delta College Possible Dream middle and high school students and more.

“Creative 360’s staff and board are looking forward to our fundraiser event. It gives us a chance to brag a little,” added Rumba. “We will share our many accomplishments over the past year and our exciting plans for the future.”

As in previous years, the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation will match dollar for dollar each donation up to $1,000.
