BOOK NIGHTS BEGIN JANUARY 30

Book nights at Creative 360

Book nights at Creative 360Readers are invited to join Barbara Jacques and Rusty Moe at Creative 360 for Book Nights. These monthly gatherings are scheduled for 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. January 30, February 28, March 26, and April 25 at Creative 360. A $5 suggestion donation is requested, but not required for each night.

“There are a great many books out there that have had a profound influence on their readers,” said co-facilitator Rusty Moe. “These Book Nights offer an opportunity to discuss them and their personal meaning, or to sit and listen for ideas on new books to read.”

Each Book Night will focus on a different theme that will also be supported by displays at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, and in books available for purchase from Barnes & Noble at each event.

“Every category of book can be deeply meaningful to people. Because of this, we are open to all genres,” explained co-facilitator Barbara Jacques. “Fiction, non-fiction, history, biography, autobiography, poetry, sacred texts, young adult and essay are all appropriate for discussion as long as it aligns with the night’s theme.”

Scheduled themes are as follows:

Tuesday, January 30:  Bring the book that has inspired you the most, touched you deeper than any other, or has transformed your view of life.

Wednesday, February 28: Bring the book that makes your heart sing; that has given you a sense of wholeheartedness, of balance.

Monday, March 26: Bring the book that has brought you comfort, solace, and wisdom during a time of grief, loss, difficulty, change or letting go.

Wednesday, April 25: Share your go-to tome for finding inner peace, for calming your inner turmoil, for spiritual calm.
