In 2008, Creative Spirit Center (now Creative 360) incubated BEAT THE DRUM, a literary magazine produced by Midland County students in 6th – 9th grades.
We are making it available it for use in middle school and 9th grade English classes. We invite students to submit their creative writing and artwork for inclusion in a future issue. Instructions for submissions appear on the last page.
The inaugural year of BEAT THE DRUM was funded by the Midland County Youth Action Council (MCYAC) of the Midland Area Community Foundation and sponsored by Creative Spirit Center .
