Creative 360 offers Day of Reflection, Growth

Creative 360 is bringing Detroit’s Roberta Lucas to Midland Sat, June 25 for a day of movement, response to the season as a metaphor, and an opportunity to make and choose meaning through journaling, drawing and creative self-expression. Participants will work indoors and outside with nature with a focus on “growth” to explore questions about transformation in life and in the community. This workshop is for everyone – healthcare professionals, teachers, artists, women, men, humans.

Roberta is a professional performing artist, choreographer and teaching artist. Integration of the arts in all aspects of education, learning and living is her motivation and passion. “My touchstone is always the arts,” Lucas explained. “Creating dance in the environment and making stories come to life with students reminds me that everyone has the capacity to create.”

The program begins at 10:00 am and runs through 3:30 pm. Those who would like to attend are asked to register by June 18 on our website or by calling 989-837-1885. Bring a lunch, a journal and a large drawing pad. Wear comfortable clothing to move in.

Lucas will return in September to deliver a program focused on the harvest season.
